Earlier this week, I was extended an honor that means quite a lot to me—namely, I was asked to become the permanent co-host of the PWI Podcast, one of the most listened-to podcasts in the world of professional wrestling. For more than 40 years, Pro Wrestling Illustrated has been the most respected wrestling magazine on the market—and I should know, because I’ve been reading it since I was in high school. For that reason especially, this is something I’m quite proud of.
Twenty years ago, I fulfilled a dream by joining the staff of WWE Magazine, another publication I had been reading since I was a kid. Since 2007, I’ve been contributing proudly to PWI, and now I get to contribute in an even greater capacity by joining senior editor Al Castle to share my sizable wrestling knowledge and even more sizable wrestling opinions on a regular basis! If you listen regularly, you may know that I’ve been on as a guest a couple of times, and apparently those guest spots went so well that head honcho Stu Saks saw fit to slot me in as the permanent replacement
for the esteemed Dan Murphy, who recently left the publication.
As someone who has written about and obsessed over pro wrestling for decades, this is a responsibility I will take on with great relish! Stay tuned and watch my social media for more info on upcoming episodes!
